Visual Arts Students Take Top Honors
DSA Visual Arts students took top honors at the 2023 National Art Honor Society Leadership Conference at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Jan. 21 - 22. Our NAHS students won monetary scholarships awarded by the Georgia Art Education Association (GAEA), participated in workshops they'll bring back to our local chapter, and won the sidewalk chalk challenge with our new fire ant mascot design by Aaralyn Ellison. The team got first dibs on a mural to take home, a bag of goodies from SCAD, and a gift card for a bunch of Dominos pizzas!
