Mr. Williams is the director of the DeKalb School of the Arts Dance Department and its touring group, Dance Repertory Company (DRC). He has choreographed over 45 works for the Dance Department. He also provides choreography for DSA’s show choirs, HighLeit and ProArte, and the drama department as needed. Since 2001, Mr. Williams has choreographed all of the musicals for DeKalb School of the Arts and in addition, was director forSeussical; The Musical in 2006, The Pajama Game in 2009, West Side Story in 2011, Chicago in 2013 and On Your Toes in 2014.

Mr. Williams has performed, taught and choreographed professionally in Atlanta since 1987. He received his BA in dance from the University of Iowa and moved to Atlanta to join Carl Ratcliff Dance Theatre. Additionally, he has danced with the Atlanta Ballet, The Atlanta Opera, and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. He was Resident Choreographer and Assistant Director for Capital City Ballet from 1997-2000 and has taught throughout Georgia. He a founding member of GardenHouse Dance Company and most recently danced with the Ruth Mitchell Dance Theater in their production of The Nutcracker. His professional choreography credits include Faust and Aida for the Atlanta Opera, “Symphony Street” with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and ballets for Gainesville Ballet, Augusta Dance Theatre, Cartersville City Ballet, Capital City Ballet and The University of Georgia Ballet Ensemble.
