Out of 800 nominees, Kalen Robinson (DSA '16) and Kalonjee Gallimore (DSA '18) have made it to the top 25 finalists in Broadway World’s Next on Stage College Competition, a new, online musical theatre competition. Among other prizes, the winner gets to donate $1000 to a charity of their choice. Kalonjee is pledging to donate his money to the NAACP's Legal Defense and Educational Fund, an association dedicated to eliminating racial disparities in America's criminal and legal systems. Kalen is pledging to donate to The HBCU Foundation, an organization dedicated to reinvigorating HBCU campuses with engaging, thought-provoking, emotionally, and intellectually-stimulating programs.
