Construction Management Summer Academy for Young Women

Auburn University’s McWhorter School of Building Science is offering a Construction Management Summer Academy for Young Women June 4-8, 2019. This program is a scholarship program, and every young woman selected to attend will receive a full scholarship for the cost of the camp . We are currently accepting applications and students can apply online here: http://www.auburn.edu/outreach/opce/auburnyouthprograms/constructionmgmt.htm#apply

This camp will be a great camp for any young women who are considering the world of Architecture, Construction, Civil Engineering or Environmental Design. It will give them the opportunity to complete hands-on and experiential learning activities incorporating construction drawings, materials/methods, and technologies. We will teach the students about safety management principles, field operations, project management, preconstruction services and other key topics in the industry. Overall we feel this camp will be a great way for young women to explore the construction management field!

We also offer other summer camp opportunities within the fields of Architecture, Design and Construction open to any rising junior or rising senior. If any of your students are interested in spending a week learning with us this summer feel free to pass along the links below for them to learn a little more! Registration is available now and scholarship applications are open until March 30th!
